Starting around Marshfield in Webster County, the Niangua River flows for about 125 miles through southwest Missouri and boasts some of the greatest fishing in the state – particularly trout! The Niangua River feeds into Bennett Springs, a mecca for fishermen in the area on the hunt for rainbow trout. Being so close to one of the Conservation Department’s trout hatcheries, the Bennett Springs area serves as one of the top choices for fishermen.
The Niangua River is a very popular river for floating as it stays cool nearly all seasons. It’s surrounded by natural land full of wildlife and great sites for camping.
