This tract measures about 2,600 feet east to west and about 400 feet north to south. It borders St. George Road along its entire east side.
The aerial photo above shows the approximate dimensions of the property. On the map you can see how the short private driveway comes in on the east side, off of St. George Road. The driveway goes back about 100 feet to the cleared site.
In this photo we are parked on St. George Road looking to the north. The property is on the left. You can see the new driveway and culvert on the left side of the photo. The property is mostly wooded except for the driveway and the three cleared sites. The property was logged about 10 years. There is some mature timber on the property but the majority will be 8-10 year old trees. All of the pictures and the video were taken recently so they are current.
The area is known for its wildlife, especially deer and turkey. Build a little cabin and you’ve got your own hunting retreat!
Here are the directions to the property so that you can check it out: From the four-way stop in Hartville go north for about half a mile then take a right onto Highway “Z”, stay on Highway “Z” for two miles and take a right onto Highway “E”, stay on Highway “E” for about 5 miles then go left on St. George Road. Go half a mile on St. George Road and you will see the property on the left side of the road. When you visit the property please print out the maps we have provided as it can be tricky the first time you drive to the property. This clearing can be found at the end of the short private driveway. It was just cleared, so right now it looks like plain dirt…kind of ugly. BUT, it was seeded with a great grass/fescue mix so in a few months it should be lush and green.
