SORRY, THIS PROPERTY HAS BEEN SOLD.
The open, cleared area on the property. Other than this clearing the property is basically all wooded.
Large 7 acre tract with a large, private building site. Start building your home or cabin right now!
This acreage is located about 15 minutes north of the town of Hartville, Missouri. The property has some frontage on a county maintained road but it also borders a private easement road which you take to get to the building ite on the property. The easement road has been gated for privacy.
The aerial photo above shows the 7 acres. It is VERY close to the Gasconade River which is a popular river for fishing and floating. The property has a small amount of frontage on Creek Road and it also borders an easement road along its northeast side. This easement road is how you would drive to the private building/camping site.
Power and phone are at Creek Road by the east end of the property. They could be run to the cleared building/camping site if desired.
Below we have two videos. The first video starts on Creek Road and shows the drive to the property. PLEASE NOTE that in this video I incorrectly say this is a “4 acre” property. It actually is 7 acres (I don’t know what I was thinking there). This video was taken a couple of years ago. The man who bought the property recently traded it back to us a for a different property. The second video below was taken very recently. It is shorter but it starts right at the private driveway into the building site, at the property. You will see that there is a frame of a building made out of cedar posts/trees. Feel free to use this or to take it down.

This video (below) was taken very recently. It starts at the beginning of the private driveway and shows the main building/camping site on the property.

This tract is subject to the 6 basic restrictions as shown on our website (no mobile homes, etc.). Also, if you build a cabin or home on the property it must have a concrete foundation no less than 600 square feet in size. A simple 20 X 30 foot cabin will meet this requirement as long as it is on a concrete foundation (slab, stem wall or basement).
Please click on the photos on the right side of the screen to enlarge them and to get a short description of each photo.
Area map showing the location of the property. There is a large piece of the Mark Twain National Forest about 5 miles northeast of the property. The National Forest can be used for hunting, camping and recreation.
The photo above shows one of the two VERY small ponds on the property. These were dug several years ago to attract deer.
This area is full of deer and wild turkeys. The cleared area would be the easiest place to build a cabin or to set up a camper but there are numerous other locations on the property that would be excellent building or camping sites.
To get to the property from Hartville, Missouri just take Highway “Z” north for about 2 miles then take Highway “E” north for about 3 miles. Go left (north) onto Creek Road (which is a gravel road) and stay on creek road for about 1 1/2 miles and you will see the gate on the easement road on the left side of Creek Road.
The photo above was taken at the start of the private driveway on the property. This driveway leads back to the open area with the little structure made out of cedar trees/posts.
When you visit the property PLEASE print out the maps and directions we have provided as it can be tricky the first time you drive to the property. If you would like us to email you all of the maps and pictures just let us know. Feel free to go check out the property and walk all around.
