In the photo above we are standing on the County Road looking south. The land is on the left.
In the aerial map above you can see how the property is situated. The dashed blue line shows a small seasonal creek that runs across the property.
Check out the interactive map below!
Please refer to our interactive map above for additional property views and information. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate. This interactive map is fairly new for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!
Also, please note that on the interactive map it seems to work best if you click the “View Full Screen” option. Once you are in the “Full Screen” option you can select “Topo” to see a topographic map which does a good job of showing how the property is situated.
The above topo map shows how the ground lays. There is a level area at about the southwest side and it rises up as you move to the north and east from there. There appears to be a fairly level area at the northeast side which is directly adjacent to the National Forest.
The map above shows the route to the property from the town of Birch Tree, Missouri.
This property is private and secluded (with an amazing amount of wildlife) but is also within driving distance of several nice towns. Birch Tree, Winona and Mountain View, Missouri are all within about 20 minutes of the property (Mountain View has the all-important Wal-Mart).

Map showing the location of the property within the Ozarks. Excellent location. Less than 2 hours to Springfield, MO and Branson, MO. Also only about half a day’s drive to Kansas City and even closer to St. Louis.
This tract is subject to the 6 basic restrictions as shown on our website (no mobile homes, etc.). Homes or cabins built on the property must have a minimum concrete foundation size of 600 square feet (a simple 20 X 30 cabin would meet this requirement).

In the aerial photo above we are looking over the County Road toward the property.
To get to Pine Grove from Birch Tree, Missouri go east on Highway 60 for about two miles then go north on County Road 421. The road curves right and you will immediately go left onto a gravel road (still County Road 421). Now go about one mile, go right at the “T” (still County Road 421) and continue for about another two miles to Pine Grove.
There will be a sign on the right side (east side) of the road saying “Tract 6”. PLEASE NOTE, you will pass through another small development on the same county road called “Turkey Hollow” which also has Tract Sign in the trees (this can be confusing). If you set your Odometer when you leave Highway 60 you will need to go a little over 3 miles in order to get to the property.
When you visit the property PLEASE print out the maps and directions we have provided as it can be tricky the first time you drive to the property. If you would like us to email you all of the maps and pictures just let us know. Feel free to go check out the property and walk all around.
The very best way to get to the property (and to explore the property) is to get the free “MapRight” app for your smartphone or your tablet. After you get the app, send us an email or call us and we will email the link for the interactive map. It is the same interactive map that is in this listing BUT when you open it in the MapRight App there will be a colored dot to indicate right where you are (it works with the GPS in your phone/tablet).
This property DIRECTLY borders the Mark Twain National Forest. This is a rare opportunity to have easy access onto THOUSANDS of acres of land, right at your doorstep.
If you have been looking for a nice tract of land for a while then you already know how hard it is to find acreage adjoining public land. This property is one of the VERY FEW tracts we have had with direct frontage on the National Forest. This is one of the ONLY tracts we have ever had that has direct frontage on a County Maintained Road AND the National Forest.
The close up aerial map above shows how the property is situated and its approximate dimensions. Excellent mixture of timber on this tract.
There are a total of ONLY 11 tracts at Pine Grove and ONLY the tracts on the south side of Pine Grove border the National Forest. When these are gone, they’re gone…act fast!
This property is in the heart of a popular recreational area. People travel from all over the country to hunt, fish, camp and play in this area! The popular Eleven Point River is just a few miles to the south. The equally popular Jack’s Fork River is just a few miles to the north. The Jack’s Fork River flows east through the town of Eminence which is nationally known for trail rides, canoeing and tubing. You will not get bored around here.
The above map shows the property in relation to the National Forest.
In the aerial photo above we are looking east over the property toward the national forest.
