Please refer to our interactive map above for additional property views and information. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate. This interactive map is BRAND NEW for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!
On the interactive map above, the National Forest on the east side of the tracts may not be labled. Still, the interactive map is pretty cool because you can zoom right in on any part of the property.
Also, please note that on the interactive map it seems to work best if you click the “View Full Screen” option. Once you are in the “Full Screen” option you can select “Topo” to see a topographic map which does a good job of showing how the property is situated. It is basically level on the west side by the county road and rises up very gradually as you head east toward the National Forest. It levels off toward the middle of the property.
The pretty cabin on the property would be an excellent place to spend family vacations or to set up hunting camp with your friends.
The cabin was built about four years ago on a reinforced concrete slab and sided with cedar siding. Cedar soffits under the metal roof complete the trim package. Double paned insulated windows were used throughout. The cabin is insulated and sheetrocked on the inside and has a nice loft area which might be perfect for sleeping or additional storage. The cabin measures 12′ X 20′ and has a 4′ front porch. The interior floor and porch are a concrete slab which could be used just as they are or covered to suit your taste.
The cabin seems to be in pretty good overall shape. It’s probably much too small to live in permanently but it could be a perfect place for camping, hunting or to stay in while you build something larger.
The cabin is small but the layout is very nice. You walk into a living room type area then back to the right there is a kitchen area. To the left is the bathroom. There are two short ladders which take you up into the loft. The loft was designed so that even a full grown person would have no problem standing up straight. It has outlets for power and a closet rod for clothing.
This aerial photo does a pretty good job showing the placement of the cabin on the 10 acres. It also shows the county road, the river and some of the National Forest which borders the property on the southeast and northwest sides. There are two other small cabins to the east of the property and there is a larger home to the west of the property (which you can see pretty well on the map, but you CAN NOT see from the cabin).

This plat map shows the 10 acres (10.330 acres to be precise). On this plat map you can only see a very small portion of the National Forest (shown in green) which DIRECTLY borders the property on two sides.

Here is the cleared area which is down the hill past the cabin. There are many large trees on the property including oak, hickory, walnut and sycamore just to name a few. The treeline at the back end of this cleared area is about the line between the 10 acres and the National Forest. There is a very short trail through the National Forest which takes you right to the North Fork River.
