Please refer to our interactive map above for additional property views and information. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate. This interactive map is BRAND NEW for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!
On the interactive map above, the National Forest on the east side of Tract 3 may not be labled. Still, the interactive map is pretty cool because you can zoom right in on any part of the property.
Also, please note that on the interactive map it seems to work best if you click the “View Full Screen” option. Once you are in the “Full Screen” option you can select “Topo” to see a topographic map which does a good job of showing how the property is situated. It is basically level on the west side by the county road. It stays level until about the center and then it begins to gradually slope up as you continue heading east toward the National Forest.
This property DIRECTLY borders the Mark Twain National Forest. This is a rare opportunity to have excellent access onto THOUSANDS of acres of land, right at your doorstep. The National Forest can be used for hunting, camping, trail riding, fishing and canoeing (in the numerous creeks and rivers) as well as other recreational activities.
If you have been looking for a nice tract of land for a while then you already know how hard it is to find acreage adjoining public land. This property is one of the VERY FEW tracts we have had with direct frontage on the National Forest. This is one of the ONLY tracts we have ever had that has direct frontage on a County Maintained Road AND the National Forest (AND with an electric line on site).
There are only about 20 tracts at Wild Turkey Hollow and ONLY the tracts on the east border the National Forest. When these are gone, they’re gone…act fast!
The map above shows the route to the property from the town of Birch Tree, Missouri.
This property is private and secluded (with an amazing amount of wildlife) but is also within driving distance of several nice towns. Birch Tree, Winona and Mountain View, Missouri are all within about 20 minutes of the property (Mountain View has the all-important Wal-Mart).
