The property is quite level on the north side, with numerous potential sites for building, camping and hunting.

This tract is subject to the 6 basic Deed Assurances as shown on our website (no mobile homes, etc.). In order to be used as a residence, homes or cabins built on the property must have a minimum concrete foundation size of 600 square feet (a simple 20 X 30 cabin would meet this requirement).
The map above shows the route to the property from highway 17.
To get to the 10 acres from Mountain View, Missouri just go south out of town on Highway 17 for about 4-5 miles and then go west onto County Road 2660. Now go about 2 miles and when County Road 2660 takes a sharp turn to the left you will go right (north) onto the private road. The easement road is shown as “Private Road 2661” on some maps. The easement road is a minimum maintenance road and a truck or an suv is definitely recommended. Follow the easement road to the north for about 1/2 a mile. As soon as you go down the hill and cross the gravel river bed you will see the property on the right. PLEASE NOTE that there is a gate at the start of the easement road. Before you visit the property, please contact us for the combination to the lock on the gate.
Since no permits or inspections are required to build, we have found that two reasonably skilled people can put up a 20 X 30 cabin shell in about 2 weeks (you never have to wait around for the inspector). Portable buildings are permitted for camping and storage but not for a permanent residence (unless permanently attached to a 600 square foot foundation).
