Please refer to our interactive map (above) for additional property views and information. This was created with the “MapRight” program. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate (but the property itself is surveyed with survey pins in place). This interactive map is fairly new for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!
If you download the free “MapRight” app to your phone or tablet you can use it to get to the property and also to explore the property and boundaries when you are there. To watch a video on exactly how to use the free MapRight app you can click on the video below. This is a “generic” video so it is not for this specific property but the information is the same:
The picture above is an aerial photo showing how the property is situated. The entire north side of the property directly borders the Mark Twain National Forest for 310 feet. The property has about 155 feet of road frontage along its south side. The power line is DIRECTLY on the south side of the property, giving you excellent access to power, if you ever need it.
The map above gives you another look at the immediate area (the National Forest is shaded in green). You can explore THOUSANDS of acres of National Forest from your property! This tract is also very close to the private Lake Area which is only for property owners and their guests. The easement road will take you to the lake area or you can take the road/trail shown as the dashed line on the map above.
The photo above is the survey map for Wilderness Lake. This property is Tract 3 and can be found at the top of the map.
In the aerial photo above we are looking southerly over the property, toward the lake area.
In the aerial photo above, we are looking northerly over the property toward the National Forest. The darker green trees in the distance (pine trees) are the Mark Twain National Forest which can be used for additional hunting, camping, fishing and trail riding.
Set up camp on your private acreage and have access to the private lake as well as thousands of acres of public land in the National Forest! The hunting in the area is amazing!
In the video below, we explore the property on foot:
The video below is an “Intro Video” where we use the MapRight Software to explore the property and the area:
From the road, the property drops down slightly and then rises up as you come into the cleared site. As you continue to the west (toward the National Forest) the property rises up slightly. Basically, all of the property is usable with no areas that we would call “steep”.
In addition to the Standard Property Covenants as shown on our website, Wilderness Lake has a few other property covenants which will help each tract to maintain its value and desirability well into the future:

Also, if you have not already seen the Standard Property Covenants you can click here.
Feel free to make the trip to check out the property. To get to the property from Winona, Missouri simply go south on Highway 19 for about 2 1/2 miles. Then go east on County Road 580 for about 2 1/4 miles (gravel road). You will see the two blue gates on the east side (left side) of the county road. The gates may be closed and they may appear to be locked but they are not locked. Go through the gates and take a left at the “Y” in the road, now go about 1/2 a mile and you will see the property on the left.
Please print out the maps/directions before visiting the property. Also, we will be happy to email you the link for the interactive map that we used toward the top of the listing. If you get the “MapRight” app on your smartphone or tablet then you can use the actual interactive map when you view the property which will make your first trip very easy! – A four wheel drive is recommended for any properties on a gravel road (easement road or county road). The extra clearance is always nice and the few times you might use the four wheel drive make it a “must” for any rural property.
In the photo above we are parked at the south side of the property.
There is a power line located directly on the south side of the property which gives you excellent access to power.
Please note that timber with a stump diameter larger than 8 inches may not be cut, sold or removed until the property has been paid for in full (we can often give written exceptions for creating additional building sites and driveways).
