The first video (below) will show you a very simple way to get the approximate GPS Coordinates for any property from the Land Id map (MapRight Map). PLEASE NOTE – To get the GPS Coordinates from Land Id you will need to access the map/website with a desktop computer (phones and tablets do not seem to work for this):
The next video shows how you can use the Land Id app (MapRight app) to drive to your property and to explore the boundaries of your property. It’s really cool and once you learn how to use it we think you will love it!
The MapRight app is an excellent tool to help you find the approximate boundaries of your property. If you plan to fence your boundaries or if you plan to build close to the boundaries then we would highly recommend that you invest in a survey of your property. Some of the tracts we sell have been surveyed, and some have not (just ask us if you have any questions).
The video below is a short explanation of a simplified solar set-up. This is definitely NOT meant to be a full course in solar education, but we do hope that it gives you the very basics of solar and that it will make solar energy less of a mystery!
