Most of the south side of the property appears to be quite level. It slopes down gradually as you move to the north and the topo map indicates that it slopes down more steeply as you get toward the east side.
The topo map above shows the “lay of the land”. The land is basically level art the southeast side (where the road come into the property). There is a small “valley” which runs west to east across the north part of the property.

This property is in the heart of a popular recreational area. People travel from all over the country to hunt, fish, camp and play in this area! The popular Current River is just a few miles to the east. The equally popular Jack’s Fork River and Eleven Point River are in the area as well. You will not get bored around here!
Directions to the property:
To get to the property from Springfield, Missouri, we went east on Highway 60 until we passed the tiny town of Winona. About 15 miles east of Winona we went south onto Highway C. After going about 15 miles south on Highway C, we went west onto County Road C-12 (also appears to be shown as 3142 on some maps). After about 5 miles we went north onto County Road 167. We went north for about 3 1/2 miles on County Road 167 before going east onto Forest Road 4998. After about 1/4 mile we went north onto Forest Road 4004. We went north on Forest Road 4004 for about 1/2 a mile before turning right onto the start of the Permitted Forest Road (where you will see the red gate). After opening the gate you can proceed to the property. A four wheel drive would be a good idea for this last stretch of road.
