The topo map above shows how the 15 acres is situated. The property is the highest at the south side by the easement road. It slopes down gently as you move north and it has a seasonal creek on the north side. This creek would normally be dry, except after a rain.

The aerial photo above was taken over the south side of the property, looking to the north. The straight, cleared line on the left side of the screen is the power line and the phone line, which are just off the west side of the property (the property basically ends at the tree line). This tract has numerous potential sites for hunting, building and camping. It is very private and has some great views.
Feel free to make the trip to check out the property. From Mountain Grove, Missouri go south on Highway 95 for about 20 miles to Highway 14. Go east on Highway 14 for about 7 miles to County Road 255 on the left (north). Take County Road 255 to the gravel easement roads (shown on the map below) to get to the property.

All of the tracts at Hawk’s Roost (including this 15.813 acres) make use of a gravel easement road system. The roads are private by design and a four wheel drive is required to access any property within Hawk’s Roost. Because this 18 acres is located at the end of the gravel easement road, there is very little traffic on that section of the road so it is likely that the grass has grown up within the road(s) and that you will encounter rough spots in the road. With a four wheel drive truck or suv you will have a much better trip to the property, especially if it has been raining or the weather has been bad.
