Tracts 7 and 8 at Pine Grove are a total of 10.3 acres in size and are fully surveyed. They border the Mark Twain National Forest along much of their east side and border County Road 421 along their entire west side. The property is all wooded with pine, oak, hickory, cedar and many other species of trees.
Please refer to our interactive map above for additional property views and information. Please note that the boundary lines and measurements are approximate. This interactive map is BRAND NEW for us and if you have a chance we would love to have your feedback on it. Is it awesome? Is it great? Is it confusing? We would like to know!
On the map above, Tract 7 is on the south (bottom) and Tract 8 is on the north (top). Tract 7 borders the National Forest along its entire east side and Tract 8 borders the National Forest along part of its east side.
This section of the Mark Twain National Forest gives you over 20,000 acres of land for hunting, camping, fishing, trail riding, exploring and recreation!
Also, please note that on the interactive map (above) it seems to work best if you click the “View Full Screen” option. Once you are in the “Full Screen” option you can select “Topo” to see a topographic map which does a good job of showing how the property is situated.
The topo map shows Tract 7 (south side, at the bottom) and Tract 8 (north side, at the top) at Pine Grove. This map incorrectly shows that properties as different sizes but they are each 5.17 acres in size (for a total of 10.34 acres). Together, they have over 700 feet of frontage on the National Forest.
The properties rise up as you move east off of the county road and they level off on their east side at the National Forest. There is a private trail on the properties which starts at the county road and goes back to the east. This trail is drivable with a 4X4 BUT your vehicle may get a few scratches so please use caution!
This area is well known for large deer and turkey. The National Forest frontage means you have direct access to literally THOUSANDS of places to hunt for that big buck!
Set up your camp, cabin or home and have DIRECT access to over 20,000 additional acres of land in the Mark Twain National Forest.

To get to Pine Grove from Birch Tree, Missouri go east on Highway 60 for about two and a half miles then go north on County Road 421. The road curves right and you will immediately go left onto a gravel road (still County Road 421). Now go about one mile, go right at the “T” (still County Road 421) and continue until you see a “Tract 7” and a “Tract 8” sign on the right side of the road. You will pass through another small development that we did a few months ago before you get to Pine Grove but it you print the maps and directions you should be able to drive right to the property.
When you visit the property PLEASE print out the maps and directions we have provided as it can be tricky the first time you drive to the property. If you would like us to email you all of the maps and pictures just let us know. Feel free to go check out the property and walk all around.
These two tracts DIRECTLY border the Mark Twain National Forest along much of their east sides. This is a rare opportunity to have easy, direct access onto THOUSANDS of acres of land, right at your doorstep.
If you have been looking for a nice tract of land for a while then you already know how hard it is to find acreage adjoining public land. This property is one of the VERY FEW tracts we have had with direct frontage on the National Forest. This is one of the ONLY tracts we have ever had that has direct frontage on a County Maintained Road AND the National Forest. Power is not on the property but it is within about 3/4 of a mile.
There are a total of ONLY 11 tracts at Pine Grove and ONLY SOME of the tracts border the National Forest. When these are gone, they’re gone…act fast!
These tracts are in the heart of a popular recreational area. People travel from all over the country to hunt, fish, camp and play in this area! The popular Eleven Point River is just a few miles to the south. The equally popular Jack’s Fork River is just a few miles to the north. The Jack’s Fork River flows east through the town of Eminence which is nationally known for trail rides, canoeing and tubing. You will not get bored around here!
The small town of Birch Tree has a few stores as well as a truck stop and a Dollar General Store (like a miniature Wal-Mart). The town of Mountain View is about 10 miles west of the property and Mountain View has many stores/restaurants including the all-important Wal-Mart!
